Each time the academy is upgraded, additional technologies can be researched. Note that simply because the research is unlocked at a specific academy level, it will likely still have some pre-requisite technologies. Those pre-requisites are not show here and can be viewed on the individual technology page.

And once you do, you are faced with a dilemma: should you upgrade your existing units into the better tier troops or keep the old ones and start training new ones?

This is a rule. To prove that, here are a couple of screenshots comparing the Arcuballista level 2 Siege Unit with the Battering Ram:.

As you can see, everything but the Marching speed is way better with the superior level unit. So this is what you should be focusing on after unlocking these new units: better stats and numbers! And as you go up the tiers in Rise of Kingdoms, you will see that troops get slower and slower anyways!

But what about the existing ones? Should you upgrade the existing troops or let them be and start training new ones?

Rise of Kingdoms: How to Teleport to Your Alliance Territory

My opinion is that you should take the time and upgrade existing units into the better ones instead of ignoring them and only training new ones. If you are wondering why I say that, there are actually various reasons.

The most important is time required to get the better troops, as you can see in the example that I will be listing below. Taking some infantry troops as an example — just for the sake of diversity — we can see that training new Level 2 units Swordsman takes a bit over 2 hours:. However, if I am to upgrade the existing troops, I only need a bit over one hour and a lot less in terms of resources as well:. But this is not the only reason why you want to upgrade your existing troops before you train new ones.

Each commander in the game has a specific troop capacity. And only afterwards start training new units for your kingdom. But make sure that you are active and log in often in order to get done with the upgrade process as fast as possible in order to get that boost ASAP.

Eventually, as you reach Tier 2 and Tier 3 troops, you will be able to send a total of 3 armies to battle at once. By that time, your commanders will probably be of a really high level and they will be able to carry a lot of troops.

If in this situation, in some cases for example, if you have been attacked often and lost many troopsyou might not have enough units to fully fill three armies. In this case — and this case only — you should start training new troops first and only start upgrading previous tier units once you have a large enough army to go fully stocked with three sets of commanders. July 1, 3 Comments I disagree:. I actually found that it stagnates the pace in which your civilization increases in power tremendously. I was constantly on par with 2 alliancemembers on power overturning eachother every now and then.

Takes about 12 hours to get the T3 infantry x trained. An alternative option which I could recommend is the following: T1: New troops building of course T2: Only train new troops T3: Upgrade all T1 troops remaining and focus on new t3 after T4: Upgrade all T2 troops remaining and focus on new t4 after T5: Upgrade all T3 troops remaining.

Then focus on new T5 until you have plenty to keep at least 2 commanders filled with max capacity T5 troops and after you work to upgrade all remaining T4 troops. Good points! It really depends on your level of activity and how active is your alliance. If you expect to lose troops to alliance wars, then there is indeed no point in wasting time and resources upgrading the lower tier units.

It is way more efficient to farm with t1 siege, than t3 or t4, since the load increase is only minimal and when you inevitably get attacked your losses are way lower. The downside is, they easily clog up your hospital. Your email address will not be published. Facebook Twitter Pinterest Reddit Telegram.Fortunately, you can teleport to your alliance in Rise of Kingdoms and I am here to share with you today how to do it.

The thing is that, in order to teleport to your alliance in Rise of Kingdoms, you will need a special items: a teleport item that you will find in your inventory, looking something like this:. Now in the example above, I only have a random teleport which is not very useful, but either of the two items mentioned above will do a good job. Then use the item that allows you to teleport and select a location.

Make sure that you actually place your village in an empty space: zoom in as much as possible on the position you want to teleport to and wait a little bit to make sure that all the elements in the game are loaded.

The only way to get one, actually, is by visiting the Mysterious Merchant that visits your civilization every now and then. This would be it: you know how to get to teleport to your alliance in Rise of Kingdoms.

This stunning strategy video game features an endlessly open world, where you can build your own city, start conquering the world and writing your own history for the kingdom!

You must have a feel for megalomanic tyrants of the past. We would start from the beginning. After that, you will be offered a little piece of land for cultivating in one of your cities. All these buildings come with the option of upgrading, and such upgrades do take time, which means you have to queue them up in the hut of the builder.

But thanks to the speed up cards, you can skip them. And these speed up cards, you need to collect them by buying or playing with gems directly. You have the option of loading the game, upgrading multiple buildings, sending out a couple scouts, training some of your troops, and usually ramp up your small city as you wait for your bus to arrive. Did you decipher that far? Do that again. And one more time. The majority of it got covered inside the fog caused by the war, a small map at the top-right corner that indicates the amount of the world that is on the screen.

You will find a total of 9 there, each of them being 9x larger compared to a completely zoomed-out screen filled with stuff. Then, it happens to be a huge nasty world beyond the walls of your small city. Each time you employ a scout, you give birth to more of the gameplay. In terms of fighting, you have to keep up not the troops of your only, but, the RPG commanders as well. All these come with their personal skill trees. Plus, you are able to have plenty of them at the same time, which command the troops at the various sections of your map.

You do not need to fight the entire world on your own. If you are interested, you could help your other alliance teams by offering donations or troops.

You could also seek help, for things like pacing up your research and leveling up the procedures. You can also give funds to research projects of alliance level. Overall, there are so many things to do in this game that you may end up dizzying. From home chores to bloodbaths of war, skirmishes with close barbarians to diplomacy with alliances who are far away, from battling through military stages to applying buffs, all of that with the help of a few taps on your phone screen.

All these happen at a real-time, continuous open-world situation, alongside numerous notifications that inform you about what is going on while you are doing something else on your device. Gratefully, there happen to be missions, quests, and also regular objectives that help you barge forward. You have these available at a constant amount, with every one of them awarding you with logs, food, currency, and some other resources as well. There are so many things stashed inside this game, as a matter of fact, it may turn into something fiddly sometimes.

You have to utilize the zoom feature even within the city for avoiding pressing the wrong building mistakenly. However, there is a small room allocated for the characters. Passes are holy sites that allow alliance members to move from one region to another as well as to use Targeted Teleports between their current location and another region connected by an owned pass.

The Lost Temple is a very special site, the leader of the alliance who controls the temple becomes King of the kingdom and has sovereign power over it. Sanctums, altars, and shrines are open for contending every 3 days. During this period, all alliances are able to attack a sanctum, altar, or shrine as long as they have Territory touching them, and an alliance gains control of the site if they occupy and hold it for 4 hours.

Note: the same types of site's buffs do not stack. Found in zone 1. There are 70 sanctums total. Four zone one regions have twelve sanctums and two have eleven. All units who are severely wounded during altar battles will be sent to the hospital.

There are 37 altars total. Five zone one regions have six altars and one has seven. Found in zone 2. There are three shrines per zone 2 region for a total of nine. Half of the units who are severely wounded during shrine battles will die immediately. Shrines can be attacked by rallied armies containing a maximum of 1.

Passes have an initial protection period, as the kingdom evolves the protection for each zone's passes is removed in order of zone 1 passes, then zone 2, then zone 3. One the protection period has ended any alliance can take control of a pass by having territory that touches it and then by fighting the garrison NPC troops in the pass.

After a pass has been taken the first time any alliance can gain control of a pass by having territory touching it and simply occupying it if it is empty, or by fighting the owner alliance's armies that have reinforced it; no fighting of NPC's is required after the initial occupation.

Found in zone 4.
